If we take this same line of questioning, but to IT Admins and IT Managers, with replacing “Word or Excel” with “Active Directory or Exchange” and you will again get “yes, yes, yes” responses. Simply put. All of our R2’s customers have Microsoft as a vendor. Adding to the strength of this claim is that the Microsoft universe expands outside of the typical IT Admin space into development, business operations, and business analytics. When it comes to transitioning to a major cloud player, Microsoft has been a standout. Was the initial standup of Microsoft Sentinel an attempt to take market share in a public cloud by logo only? Perhaps, but Microsoft Sentinel has leaned on its strength in Mail, Productivity Tools, Identity, and Application Development to expand Sentinel into new technology areas it has previously not played in. Our objective becomes taking the gains Microsoft has made in the public and hybrid cloud world, take those strategies and apply them to our customer’s business.
